Godavari Fertilisers Board recommends 40% dividend

Godavari Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 17, 2007, inter alia, has recommended a dividend of 40% (Rs 4 per share) for the financial year 2006-07.

The stock was trading at Rs.123.80, up by Re.0.90 or 0.73%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.123.95 and low of Rs.120. The total traded quantity was 827 compared to 2 week average of 1230.

The stock had hit a 52 week high of Rs.149.90 on open offer made by the promoter group at Rs.150 per share. The stock drifted lower once the open offer closed.
