West Coast Paper reaches settlement with labour

With reference to the earlier announcement dated March 28, 2007 regarding suspension of operations of the Cable Division at Mysore, w.e.f. March 25, 2007 due to labour unrest, West Coast Paper Mills Ltd has announced that a settlement has been reached with the union and operations of the said division have resumed on April 17, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.356.70, down by Rs.2.40 or 0.67%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.372 and low of Rs.356. The total traded quantity was 361 compared to 2 week average of 403.
