Aventis Pharma announces Q1 results, net profit at Rs.433 million

Aventis Pharma Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 433 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 369 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2101 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 2329 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1218.30, down by Rs.5.30 or 0.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1281 and low of Rs.1210. The total traded quantity was 3371 shares compared to 2 week average of 1763.
