GVK Power shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation / Arrangement

GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order made by the High Court of Delhi at New Delhi, a meeting of the shareholders of the Company will be held on May 03, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the proposed scheme of amalgamation of M/s. Bowstring Projects & Investments Pvt Ltd (First transferor Company) and M/s. Green Garden Horticulture Pvt Ltd (Second transferor Company) with the Company (Transferee Company).
Further the Company has informed that, pursuant to the order made by the High Court of Delhi at New Delhi, a meeting of the shareholders of the Company will be held on May 03, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the proposed Scheme of Arrangement amongst M/s. GVK Industries Ltd and the Company and their respective shareholders.
