Universal Cables Ltd Satna unit commences production

Universal Cables Ltd has announced that commercial production of the Company's "The technology upgradation-cum-expansion Project" for XLPE Cables, at Satna, has been commenced w.e.f. March 29, 2007.

The stock closed at Rs.89.10, up by Rs.1.25 or 1.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.90 and low of Rs.86.10. 4274 shares changed hands compared to 2 week average of 3020.
