Fire in Mysore Cements HDPE bags godown

Mysore Cements Ltd has announced that at around 10.30 P.M. on April 09, 2007, a fire broke out in the HDPE Bags Godown at the Company's cement plant at Imlai, District Damoh (M.P.). The fire was brought under control by around 1.25 A.M. on April 10, 2007.

The exact cause of the fire is not yet known and there has been no disruption in operation at the Plant due to the fire and there has been no injury to any person.

Further the Company has informed that, the HDPE Bags Godown has been adequately insured and the officers of the Company along with the insurance surveyor are assessing the exact quantum of damage / loss.
