Satyam's Ken Taormina Voted onto National Association of Manufacturing Board

Satyam Computer Services Ltd on April 06, 2007, has announced that Kenneth C Taormina, the senior vice president in its Manufacturing Practice, was elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturing. It is his second stint on the board; he served in a similar capacity several years ago.

Taormina will meet regularly with other NAM board members to determine ways to help manufacturing companies throughout the United States maintain their competitive edge. Often, his efforts will include work to influence legislation and regulations. Additionally, he will help policymakers, the media, and the public understand the importance of a healthy and vibrant manufacturing industry.

In addition, the Company has joined the Association, making it the first global organization headquartered in India to do so.
