HPCL to increase authorised share capital

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 22, 2007, has approved the Increase in Authorised Share Capital of the Corporation from Rs 350 Crores to Rs 2,500 Crores. The Corporation will initiate action for obtaining various approvals including Govt. approvals before giving effect to the increase in Authorised Share Capital.
