Vijay Textiles Updates on new manufacturing facility

With reference to the earlier announcement dated April 18, 2006 where in the Company had intimated that consequent to Government Directives for relocating the industries located in Kattedan and surrounding areas the Company had decided to set up a new manufacturing facility at Rajapoor Village in Mahaboob Nagar District by acquiring land to the extent of 8 Acres for the new facility, Vijay Textiles Ltd has announced that the Company has completed the construction of factory building, erection and commissioning of the new machineries, utilities and other infrastructure facilities and commenced trial run production from March 15, 2007.

Further the Company has informed that, the Company has decided to go for expansion of the project by adding facilities for manufacture of wider width fabrics and gone ahead with placement of orders for additional plant and machinery required for this expansion. The Company hopes to start production of the "Wider width fabric" during the 2nd quarter of the next financial year.
