On a standalone basis, IMPAL reported a Net Profit After Tax of ₹21.70 crore for Q1 FY27, representing a 6.32% year-on-year increase compared to ₹20.41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY26). Sequential profitability declined compared to ₹33.46 crore recorded in Q4 FY26 due to tax adjustments in the preceding quarter.
Total income for the quarter surged 16.92% year-on-year to ₹243.96 crore, up from ₹208.66 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹228.44 crore in Q4 FY26.
Revenue from Operations: Net revenue from operations grew 19.12% year-on-year to ₹234.29 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹196.69 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹210.72 crore in Q4 FY26.
Other Income: Stood at ₹9.67 crore for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹11.97 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹17.72 crore in Q4 FY26.
Total Expenses: Stood at ₹216.52 crore in Q1 FY27, up 18.32% year-on-year from ₹182.99 crore in Q1 FY26. Key cost line items included:
Cost of Materials Consumed / Purchase of Stock-in-Trade: ₹196.96 crore / ₹197.63 crore.
Employee Benefits Expense: Increased to ₹10.68 crore (vs. ₹9.56 crore in Q1 FY26).
Other Expenses: Rose to ₹8.47 crore (vs. ₹6.86 crore in Q1 FY26).
Finance Costs: Remained nil.
Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rose 6.89% year-on-year to ₹27.44 crore for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹25.67 crore in Q1 FY26.
Total Tax Expense: Came in at ₹5.74 crore (including ₹6.01 crore current tax and ₹(0.27) crore deferred tax credit).

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for Q1 FY27 increased to ₹17.38 per share (face value ₹10.00 each, not annualised), up from ₹16.35 in Q1 FY26.
Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Stood unchanged at ₹12.48 crore (face value ₹10.00 per equity share).
Reserves (excluding Revaluation Reserves): Stood at ₹2,295.69 crore as of March 31, 2026.
