Mcleod Russel Updates on equity shareholders Meeting to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

With reference to the earlier announcement dated February 23, 2007, regarding equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation, Mcleod Russel India Ltd has announced that the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta has passed an Order on March 15, 2007 to modify the earlier Order dated February 07, 2007 convening meeting of Equity Shareholders on March 16, 2007 pertaining to the Scheme of Amalgamation of Doom Dooma Tea Company Ltd with the Company to the extent that such meeting will be held on March 19, 2007.
