Transgene Biotek allots GDRs worth $23 million

The Board of Directors of Transgene Biotek Ltd at its meeting held on February 22, 2011, the Company has allotted 2,500,000 GDRs underlying 25,000,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each @ US$ 9.2 per GDR aggregating to US$ 23 million.

The stock was trading at Rs.49, down by Rs.3.25 or 6.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.54.70 and low of Rs.48.50.

The total traded quantity was 0.29 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.27 lakhs.
