Wipro allots 16575 Equity Shares

Wipro Ltd has announced that Administrative Committee of the Company's Board of Directors vide resolution dated January 24, 2011 resolved to issue and allot 16575 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each pursuant to exercise of the stock options by the eligible employees under Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2005.

The stock closed the day at Rs.446.20, up by Rs.1.85 or 0.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.451.95 and low of Rs.435.10.

The total traded quantity was 2.78 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.32 lakhs.
