Patni Computer Systems allots 232250 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated January 07, 2011 has allotted 232,250 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 31,820 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 15,910 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADS Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.463.85, up by Rs.3.75 or 0.82%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.477.80 and low of Rs.458.15.

The total traded quantity was 11.80 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.73 lakhs.
