ITC allots 4997420 Shares

ITC Ltd has announced that the Company on November 19, 2010 has issued and allotted 49,97,420 Ordinary Shares of Rs. 1/- each, upon exercise of 4,99,742 Options by Optionees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Schemes.

Consequently, with effect from November 19, 2010, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 769,89,32,420/- divided into 769,89,32,420 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/-each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.172.40, down by Rs.3.45 or 1.96%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.175.40 and low of Rs.169.80.

The total traded quantity was 5.03 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 4.39 lakhs.
