Patni Computer Systems allots 560287 equity shares under Company's Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated August 25, 2010 has allotted 560,287 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees/Directors including 203,672 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York as Depository in connection with the issuance of 101,836 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock was trading at Rs.466.25, down by Rs.12.47 or 2.60%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.492.35 and low of Rs.466.20.

The total traded quantity was 2.91 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 3.55 lakhs.
