Idea Cellular allots 84163 equity shares

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced that the ESOS Compensation Committee vide its circular resolution dated June 23, 2010, has allotted 84,163 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to the Option Grantees, pursuant to the exercise of Stock Options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006 (ESOS-2006).

Further the Company has informed that, the Equity Share Capital of the Company, post the said allotment, stands increased to 330,02,31,306 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 3300,23,13,060/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.55.65, up by Rs.0.60 or 1.09%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.55.80 and low of Rs.55.15.

The total traded quantity was 793270 compared to 2 week average of 859905.
