Lanco Infratech Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit after taxation of Rs 203.05 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 8.15 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income is Rs 1375.31 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 133.45 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
The Consolidated results are as follows:
The Group has posted a profit after tax, Minority and share of profits of associates of Rs 516.78 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 36.18 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income is Rs 4506.98 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 150.09 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
During the nine months ended December 31, 2006 the Company had consolidated certain group entities engaged in the business of Power, Construction and Property Development under its management. Consequently, these Companies have become its subsidiaries / associates. Hence, the consolidated results for the current period are not fully comparable with those of the corresponding period of the previous year.
