Virat Crane to merge Durga Dairy Ltd with itself

Virat Crane Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 30, 2007, inter alia, has considered and accorded the following:

1. Taken a decision to merge completely Durga Dairy Ltd, a 51% subsidiary of the Company with itself and also considered the proposition of demerging its infrastructure division into a separate entity.

2. To study and suggest the options and to advise the Company on the Merger and Demerger Process, the Board of Directors has formally appointed M/s. Firstcall India Equity Advisors Pvt Ltd, Mumbai as the Strategic Financial Advisors.
