Mphasis Ltd has announced the following Audited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 136.518 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 195.661 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 986.519 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 1288.110 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
The Consolidated Results are as follows:
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 357.670 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 408.423 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 2405.443 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 2997.611 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
Commenting on the results Mr. Jerry Rao, Chairman, said "As we close the calendar year 2006 we can look back with a sense of pride at what we have achieved and move into the new year with renewed vigor. Our alignment with EDS has been a landmark achievement in the past year as we look to grow this organization into a name to be reckoned with."
