Reliance Energy secures EPC contracts

Reliance Energy Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged two major contracts through competitive bidding for undertaking Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) work for the following two projects:

1. Contract of the value of Rs 3.762 crore for the 2 x 600 MW coal based power project at Hissar from Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd (HPGCL). The project is to be implemented in 35-38 months (Unit 1 and 2).

2. Contract of the value of Rs 395 crore for the "Balance of plant package" for the 2 x 250 MW Extension Units 5 & 6 of the Panchha Thermal Power Station near Jhansi from Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam.
