Amara Raja Batteries to manufacture 2 wheeler and small VRLA batteries at Tirupati facility

Amara Raja Batteries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 30, 2007, inter alia, has approved the investment in setting up a facility at Tirupati for the manufacture of two wheeler and small VRLA batteries. The proposed investment would be Rs 1134 Million spread over 3 years. The capacity of the said facility would be 5.74 million units.
