iGate Global announces inauguration of Phase 3 at Whitefield campus

iGate Global Solutions Ltd on January 31, 2007 has announced the inauguration of Phase 3, at its corporate campus in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Phase 3 provides around one lakh square feet of work space with a capacity to seat around 900 employees. The estimated cost of constructing and equipping the facility is approximately Rs 30 crore. The new block has environment friendly initiatives like rain water harvesting, waste water treatment and uses energy conserving lighting and air-conditioning systems.

"In our continued endeavor to provide world-class work environment to employees, the new facility is built according to best-in-class standards. We have sufficient vacant space within our campus to accommodate future growth," said N Ramachandran, Member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

The Company's corporate campus in Whitefield, Bangalore, inaugurated early 2003, is built on a 14 acre plot. The campus presently has work space for around 3500 employees. Over one lakh square feet has been provided for greenery in the 10 acre area that has been developed to date.
