L&T allots 502858 Shares

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has announced that the Company has allotted 5,02,858 (Five Lakh Two Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Eight) shares on May 17, 2010 to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Ownership / Option Schemes.

The said shares will rank pari-passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock was trading at Rs.1606.60, up by Rs.77 or 5.03%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1609 and low of Rs.1475.10.

The total traded quantity was 1060422 compared to 2 week average of 205443.
