Artefact Software receives approval from ROC for name change as Artefact Projects Ltd

Artefact Software & Finance Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 29, 2007, inter alia, has transacted the following:

1. Adopted the fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the ROC approving the change of name from 'Artefact Software & Finance Ltd' to 'Artefact Projects Ltd' dated December 26, 2006. The Board also authorized the Chief Financial Officer to take all necessary steps to make the name change applicable and inform all the authorities, shareholders, banks, etc.

2. Adopted the order issued by Reserve Bank of India thus canceling the Company's registration as an NBEC. The Board also authorized the Chief Financial Officer to take all necessary steps to inform all the authorities, shareholders, banks, etc regarding the deregistration.
