Bhushan Steel to setup plant in West Bengal, expand existing plant in Orissa

Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 22, 2007, inter alia, has considered and approved the following:

1. Setting up of Integrated Steel Plant in the State of West Bengal for having facilities of Steel Slab Plant, Coke Oven Plant, Captive Power Plant etc.

2. To set up a 6.0 MTPA Integrated Steel and Power Plant as an expansion of Company's existing plant being set up at Meramandali, Distt. Dhenkanal & Angul, Orissa.
