BEML announces 40% interim dividend, PAT marginally down at Rs.52.97 Crores

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML) has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 529.70 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 557.80 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 5289.40 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 5591.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The Board of Directors of the Company has declared an Interim Dividend @ 40% for the year 2006-07.

Further the Company has informed that, March 01, 2007, has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend.
