Cholamandalam DBS Finance to raise Rs 200 crores

Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 25, 2010, inter alia, has approved the issue of 2000 unsecured non-convertible debentures of Rs. 10 lacs each in the nature of subordinated debt up to an amount of Rs. 200 crs. on private placement basis in one or more tranches to one or more investors.

The stock closed the day at Rs.89.80, down by Rs.5.30 or 5.57%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.96.60 and low of Rs.88.20.

The total traded quantity was 92901 compared to 2 week average of 228719.
