Divis Laboratories allots 1166635 shares

Divis Laboratories Ltd has announced that Compensation Committee of Board of Directors in its meeting held on March 25, 2010 made the allotment of 1166635 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each to the employees under ESOP 2006 Scheme of the Company. Consequent to the above allotment, the paid up share capital of the Company will get increased to 132144145 equity shares from 130977510 equity shares of face value Rs. 2/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.677.25, up by Rs.18.75 or 2.85%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.679.50 and low of Rs.661.50.

The total traded quantity was 55270 compared to 2 week average of 32241.
