National Steel allots 11897058 warrants

National Steel and Agro Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 16, 2010, inter alia, has allotted 1,18,97,058 warrants (each warrant being convertible into one equity share of Rs. 10/-) on preferential basis to promoters, their relatives and associates and other persons / entities in accordance with the Chapter VII of the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure requirements) Regulations, 2009.

The stock closed the day at Rs.22.40, up by Rs.0.70 or 3.23%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.22.60 and low of Rs.21.50.

The total traded quantity was 209043 compared to 2 week average of 47412.
