Surya Roshni allots 1830000 Equity Shares

Surya Roshni Ltd has announced that the Company has allotted 18,30,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each at a premium of Rs. 49/- per share on conversion of Warrants issued under Preferential Allotment in the Meeting of Committee of Directors held on March 12, 2010.

The allottees include Jai Prakash Agarwal - 1,30,000 shares and Sahaj Tie - up Pvt. Ltd. - 17,00,000 shares.

The abovementioned shares are locked in for the period of Three years from the date of the allotment of equity shares i.e. upto March 11, 2013.

The stock closed the day at Rs.72.80, up by Rs.0.60 or 0.83%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.75.75 and low of Rs.72.50.

The total traded quantity was 40443 compared to 2 week average of 63186.
