Bharti Airtel allots 303216 Equity Shares

Bharti Airtel Ltd has announced that Committee of Directors of Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on February 09, 2010, has allotted 303,216 equity shares to the employees upon exercise of stock options pursuant to ESOP Scheme 2005 of the Company.

2,31,850 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 110.50, 9,550 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 156.50, 5,500 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 178.50, 22,900 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 183.00, 22,200 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 195.00, 10,550 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 206.00 and 666 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each fully paid up at an exercise price of Rs. 336.50.

With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the Company stand increased from present level of 3,796,951,980 (Nos.) to 3,797,255,196 (Nos.) equity shares of Rs. 5/- each.

The stock was trading at Rs.316.20, up by Rs.2.40 or 0.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.318.40 and low of Rs.308.80.

The total traded quantity was 491988 compared to 2 week average of 627239.
