Mercator Lines redeems part of NCDs

Mercator Lines Ltd has announced that the Company have redeemed 9th installment of 900 11.25% Secured Redeemable NCDs of Rs 5,00,000/- each aggregating to Rs. 45 crores Series VII-A due on December 30, 2009 out of above mentioned privately placed debentures.

Accordingly, the outstanding NCDs under above mentioned scrip code is now 900 - 11.25% Secured Redeemable NCDs of Rs 4,37,500/- each aggregating to Rs. 39,37,50,000/-.

The stock closed the day at Rs.60.05, up by Rs.2.25 or 3.89%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.60.40 and low of Rs.58.

The total traded quantity was 1396933 compared to 2 week average of 811776.
