Aditya Birla Nuvo allots 80 lakh equity shares

Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd has announced that the Investor Relations & Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company on October 30, 2009 has approved allotment of 80,00,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 531.19 each to the Promoter Group Companies on conversion of equivalent number of Warrants issued to them on June 22, 2009.

The stock was trading at Rs.856, up by Rs.25.85 or 3.11%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.863.80 and low of Rs.841.20.

The total traded quantity was 15490 compared to 2 week average of 65245.
