Aksh Optifibre to raise $20 million

Aksh Optifibre Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 29, 2009, has approved the proposal to raise funds upto USD 20 Mn through preferential issue(s) for its Services division comprising of IPTV and VoIP businesses.

This would be done in accordance with the SEBI Guidelines in this regard and subject to approval of shareholders iii the General Meeting.

The stock closed the day at Rs.25.30, up by Rs.0.80 or 3.27%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.25.65 and low of Rs.23.70.

The total traded quantity was 205992 compared to 2 week average of 130522.
