Vishal Retail EGM approves allotment of 75 lakh warrants

Vishal Retail Ltd has announced that the members at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company held on June 27, 2009, inter alia, have passed the Special Resolution to consider and approve to issue and allot, in one or more trenches, upto 75,00,000 (Seventy Five Lacs) warrants on a preferential basis to Mr. Ram Chandra Agarwal, CMD of the Company.

The stock closed on Friday at Rs.70.95, up by Rs.1 or 1.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.71.75 and low of Rs.68.40.

The total traded quantity was 34612 compared to 2 week average of 70930.
