Simbhaoli Sugars redeems preference shares, repays amount to ICICI Bank

Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 30, 2009, inter alia, have made payment towards redemption of 3,80,000 optionally convertible preference shares of Rs 100/- each at par aggregating to Rs 380 lacs held by ICICI Bank Ltd.

The Stock closed on April 29, 2009 day at Rs.33.60, up by Rs.1.60 or 5%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.33.60 and low of Rs.32.45.

The total traded quantity was 10029 compared to 2 week average of 21096.
