NCL Industries to increase cement capacity by 8.25 Lakh tonnes

NCL Industries Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 25, 2006, inter alia, has taken the following decisions:

2. The Board appointed Shri. S S Raju as Executive Director with effect from October 25, 2006, subject to approval of shareholders.

3. The Board approved the proposal to increase the Cement capacity by 8.25 lakh MTs per annum at a cost of Rs 213 Crores by setting up 1800 TPD Clinker Plant at Nalgonda District, Andhra Pradesh (at the existing cement plant) and 2500 TPD Cement Grinding Plant at Kondapalli, near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This also includes Railway siding. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months in view of availability of existing infrastructure.

4. The Company also increasing Laminated Boards capacity from 10000 sq. mts. per month to 25000 sq. mts. per month to meet the excellent market demand available for the product.

5. The Company bagged single largest Prefab order in the division for 3.08 lakh sft. of Rs 17.07 Crores to be completed by January' 07.
