Rama Newsprint Exits from CDR Mechanism

Rama Newsprint & Papers Ltd has announced that the Company had duly complied with the required criteria prescribed for exiting out of Corporate Debt Restructuring (CDR) mechanism. The CDR Empowered Group, in its meeting held on October 31, 2006 had considered the proposal of exit of Company from the CDR mechanism which had received unanimous recommendation from all the lenders. The Empowered Group has finally approved the exit of the Company from CDR mechanism vide their letter dated November 16, 2006.
