Kotak Mahindra Bank posts profit after of Rs.23.9069 Crores, income at Rs.306.5204 Crores

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Bank has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 239.069 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 196.795 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 1767.339 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 3065.204 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
The Consolidated results as follows:

The group has posted a profit after tax attributable to Rs 1044.337 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 464.742 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 4555.125 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 7765.842 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
