Reliance Energy announces Q1 resuts, profit after tax at Rs.176.61 Crores

Reliance Energy Ltd has announced the following Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 1766.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 1566.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income has increased from Rs 10844.40 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 13259.70 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
