Apollo Tyres announces income of Rs.757.37 Crores and net profit of Rs.16.26 Crores

Apollo Tyres Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 162.60 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 (Q1 FY 06-07) as compared to Rs 166.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 (Q1 FY 05-06). Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 5683.20 million in Q1 FY 05-06 to Rs 7573.70 million for Q1 FY 06-07.
