Commenting on the performance for July 2026, Mr. Venkat Chalasani, Chief Executive of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), noted that the 4.3% month-on-month rise in the industry's overall AUM to ₹85.76 lakh crore was largely propelled by higher market valuations and persistent buying by Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs). He highlighted that the overall trajectory was further reinforced by strong SIP inflows and noted that AMFI remains dedicated to expanding investor awareness and promoting long-term financial planning.
