Mamata Machinery Limited ('Mamata' or 'the Company'), a leading machinery solution provider in the flexible packaging industry, announced that manufacturing operations at its Ahmedabad plant have resumed with effect from July 30, 2026, after a brief 5-day disruption caused by flooding on account of unprecedented heavy rainfall.
Ahmedabad and surrounding areas, including Changodar and Bavla, received extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in flood-like conditions and severe water logging in and around the Company's manufacturing unit at Survey No. 423/P, Sarkhej-Bavla Road, Moraiya, Sanand, Ahmedabad - 382213. Consequently, manufacturing operations and production at the plant were temporarily suspended, as intimated to the stock exchanges on July 25, 2026. With the flood water having substantially receded and necessary restoration and clean-up activities undertaken, manufacturing operations and production resumed with effect from July 30, 2026, as intimated on the same date.
All assets of the Company are safe and adequately insured and the matter has been intimated to the insurance company. Accordingly, no material financial impact is expected on account of this event. All efforts of the Company are currently focused on the complete restoration of operations and plant activity.
Shares of Mamata Machinery Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 406.85 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 387.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 9341 in over 515 trades.
