Operating Profitability and EBITDA Performance
On the operational front, the company posted an EBITDA loss of ₹17.6 crore for Q1 FY27, corresponding to an EBITDA margin of -39.1%.
While EBITDA remained negative compared to the ₹(9.7) crore recorded in Q1 FY26 (EBITDA margin of -17.0%), the company demonstrated significant sequential recovery from Q4 FY26, where EBITDA losses had expanded to ₹(29.3) crore with an EBITDA margin of -60.2%.
Net Profit and Margin Trends
Quick Heal recorded a Net Loss After Tax (PAT) of ₹5.3 crore for the quarter, yielding a PAT margin of -11.7%.
The loss after tax narrowed substantially on a sequential basis, improving from a net loss of ₹19.9 crore (PAT margin of -40.9%) recorded in Q4 FY26. On a year-on-year comparison, net loss remained nearly flat, shifting slightly from ₹5.5 crore (PAT margin of -9.6%) logged in Q1 FY26.
