KICL Announces Ground Breaking for New Adidas Footwear Plant in Tamil Nadu

Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited (KICL) has announced that its associate ecosystem is expanding its manufacturing footprint with a new, state-of-the-art footwear facility in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The factory will be dedicated to manufacturing products for global sportswear giant Adidas.

The plant is being set up by Evervan Kothari Footwear Private Limited, which operates as a subsidiary of KICL's associate firm, Phoenix Kothari Footwear Private Limited.

High-Profile Ground Breaking Ceremony

The official Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Karur manufacturing facility is scheduled to take place on July 10, 2026. Highlighting the economic significance of the project to the region, the event will be graced by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Shares of Kothari Industrial Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 182.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 172.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 59211 in over 1829 trades.
