Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions Limited (TBWES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermax, has secured a boiler package supply order valued at approximately Rs. 1,600 crore from a leading thermal power projects company in Central India for a 1x800 MW ultrasupercritical thermal power plant.
The scope of work includes manufacturing, supply, supervision of installation and commissioning, as well as performance testing of the boiler package.
Execution will be aligned with project milestones and delivery schedules as defined in the contract.

TBWES provides equipment and solutions for generating steam for process and power through the combustion of various solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, as well as through heat recovery from turbine/engine exhaust and (waste) heat recovery from industrial processes. TBWES also offers heaters for various applications in the chemical, petrochemical and refinery segments. Its services arm offers renovation and modernisation solutions for old boilers and heater as well as digital solutions for all make.
Shares of Thermax Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3290.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3192.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18714 in over 3478 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3340.85 and intraday low of 3145.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 60223755.00.
