SSMD Agrotech India Ltd completes First Phase of Namkeen Plant Setup and Commencement of Roasted Chana Operations

SSMD Agrotech India Limited (Previously known as SSMD Agrotech India Private Limited) has successfully completed the first phase of the Namkeen Manufacturing Plant setup, which forms part of the Objects of the Initial Public Offer (IPO) of the Company.

The Company is pleased to inform that the operations at the Namkeen plant have commenced, marking an important milestone in the implementation of the IPO project and strengthening the Company's manufacturing capabilities in the food processing segment.

Further, the Company has commenced operations for "Roasted Chana", thereby expanding its product portfolio in the snack and processed food category.

This development is expected to enhance the Company's product offerings, operational capacity and market presence in the food and agro-based product segment.

Shares of SSMD Agrotech India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 34.16 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 36.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13000 in over 13 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 35.50 and intraday low of 30.10. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 443860.00.
