Heritage Foods Limited (BSE: 519552; NSE: HERITGFOOD), a leading dairy company offering a wide range of milk and value-added dairy products, today announced the inauguration of its new greenfield Ice cream manufacturing facility at Shamirpet, near Hyderabad, Telangana. The facility has been developed as part of the company's strategy to strengthen its value-added dairy portfolio and cater to the rapidly growing demand for premium ice cream products.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with modern automated production systems and advanced quality control infrastructure to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
The plant has an installed production capacity of approximately 24 million litres per annum, with scalability provisions to expand capacity in line with future demand growth.
Heritage Foods' Ice cream business currently generates annual revenues of approximately ₹100 crore, and the commissioning of the Shamirpet facility significantly enhances the company's ability to scale operations up to five times the current level over the next seven to eight years in the ice cream category.
