Snowman Logistics to establish a 6,500-pallet facility in Patna

Snowman Logistics Limited, India's leading provider of integrated temperature-controlled logistics services, is pleased to announce its expansion in Patna. Developed under the Built-to-Suit (BTS) model by the Nahar Group, the facility is scheduled to be operational by Jan 2027. The facility is expected to have a 6500-pallet capacity catering to a temperature zone of -25°C to + 20°C. The facility will be focused on catering to various segments such as seafood, ice cream, QSR, fruits & vegetables and pharmaceuticals.

Chairman Prem Kishan Dass Gupta said "Bihar represents an important market for us as we continue to strengthen our presence in emerging consumption centers across eastern India. With improving infrastructure, strong agricultural output, and growing demand for temperature-controlled supply chains, the state offers significant opportunities for cold chain development. Our Patna facility will not only serve Bihar but will also act as a key node for regional connectivity, supporting efficient movement of temperature-sensitive products across neighbouring markets".

This strategic expansion reinforces Snowman's commitment to strengthening India's cold chain infrastructure across key consumption and production hubs. With an existing capacity of 160,230 pallets across 22 cities, including major markets such as Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Pune, the Patna facility marks another milestone in the company's growth trajectory.

Shares of Snowman Logistics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 35.57 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 36.39. The total number of shares traded during the day was 615211 in over 478 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 36.71 and intraday low of 35.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 22013066.00.
